This is an amazing part - price of this beauty is incredibly low. While list price is approximately US$750, it can be obtained for less than US$500 when you combine Dell discount with stackable coupons. Just look for them on Google - there are number of websites listing newest Dell discounts and coupons.

Recently Dell Canada ran one of their "10 Days of Deals" campaigns and on March 12th the price of this monitor was $600 CDN.
And we are talking about final price inluding shipping! Considering that most other monitors in the same category cost close to $1000 this is the ONE to get these days.

Pixel pitch
For some reason this information is missing from Specifications page on Dell website.
Pixel pitch: 0.258 mm
This is pretty cool as the pixel size is smaller than on any 17" LCD monitor. It means that the picture, even it is quite larger, is crisper than on regular 17" LCD.
2005FP vs. 2005FPW
Dell website and other information sources refer to this monitor as Dell UltraSharp 2005FP. However, sometimes they use model number 2005FPW. At the same time most 3rd party sources on the web call it 2005FPW. Both model numbers apparently describe the same LCD display.
